 This system with plastic slats is especially applicable where classic fabric vertical blinds cannot be used due to their characteristics. Spaces with increased humidity or dust nuisance are an example.
This type is fitted with plastic slats from a large colour collection which enable to match the vertical blind with every interior. The slat width for this type of blind is 89 mm. The system is operated by a chain and a string; it is available in 5 variations. Linen vertical blinds combine sun-shading with elegant interior decoration. They are a dominating feature in flat- and office spaces and at the same time replace traditional flat features such as curtains and drapes.

The early history of the venetian blind is conjectural. The early Venetians, who were great traders, are thought to have brought the idea of the blind from Persia to Venice. The Venetian slaves, once freed, are then thought to have brought the blind to France for personal comfort and as a means of livelihood. The French name for Venetian blinds is "Les Persienes." In 1761 St. Peter’s Church in Philadelphia was fitted with venetian blinds.
