The History Venetian Blind

The early history of the venetian blind is conjectural. The early Venetians, who were great traders, are thought to have brought the idea of the blind from Persia to Venice. The Venetian slaves, once freed, are then thought to have brought the blind to France for personal comfort and as a means of livelihood. The French name for Venetian blinds is "Les Persienes." The Blue line system is built on a white head rail of two-side varnished 46 x 25 mm aluminium. This type can be provided with fabrics from a large colour collection which enables to match the vertical

blind with every interior. 68 colours and fabric patterns are offered. The material can be 100% polyester, a mixture of polyester with cotton, 100% glass fibre, PVC or a special reflexive fabric for computer laboratories. The fabric width for tis type can be 127 mm or 89 mm. This system is operated by a chain and a string; these are available in 5 variations.
