side guide rails. It is operated by a spring mechanism. The roller blind Titan consists of a solid build cover and guide rails of extruded aluminium. Using a suitable fabric, we can make the blind Titan fully blackout without any shinings-through into the interior. The fabric is wound on an aluminium shaft with a diameter of 25 mm which is fixed by the upper cover profile. The spring mechanism is equipped with brakes which provide the roller blind adjustment and stoppage in any position. These brakes also protect the complete mechanism against the overturning or other system straining.

The early history of the venetian blind is conjectural. The early Venetians, who were great traders, are thought to have brought the idea of the blind from Persia to Venice. The Venetian slaves, once freed, are then thought to have brought the blind to France for personal comfort and as a means of livelihood. The French name for Venetian blinds is "Les Persienes." In 1761 St. Peter’s Church in Philadelphia was fitted with venetian blinds.
