 Insect screens are the most effective natural protection against unwanted insects. The net is made of plastic-coated glass-fibre which is not subject to corrosion and weathers temperature differences well.
It is delivered in grey or black and it is practically invisible on the window. The 24 x 24 mm aluminium frame is made of extruded aluminium and is protected on the surface by baked varnish. It is delivered in white, brown, two wood imitations or RAL finish. The frame is connected in corners by white or brown plastic pieces.

The early history of the venetian blind is conjectural. The early Venetians, who were great traders, are thought to have brought the idea of the blind from Persia to Venice. The Venetian slaves, once freed, are then thought to have brought the blind to France for personal comfort and as a means of livelihood. The French name for Venetian blinds is "Les Persienes." In 1761 St. Peter’s Church in Philadelphia was fitted with venetian blinds.
